Claudia and Dan's Story: Avenida Cleaning Service

Claudia started her first cleaning service while the family was living in North Carolina where her husband Dan was stationed with the Marine Corps. She started small, hiring just two people. But the business grew and within a few years was servicing five houses a day, 40 hours a week. Claudia built the business on strong relationships, reliability, trust, and excellent customer service. She says, “Doing extra little things in addition to doing a great job on everything else makes for referrals and happy customers.”
Claudia says that while growing up in Rio, she learned at an early age the importance of cleaning the right way. Her parents taught her and her siblings to not just clean the house but to clean it the right way.
